Terms of Service

The terms that apply when an organisation creates an EventForm Pro™ account or uses the service.

Effective 14 September 2026 · Version 2026-09-14
Terms of Service Privacy Notice Acceptable Use Cookie Notice Data Processing Terms

1. About these Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of EventForm Pro™, operated by NJ Services (“EventForm Pro”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

The legal operator is Nathan Jorden.

EventForm Pro is intended primarily for business and professional use. If you create an account for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf. “Customer” means that organisation.

Our Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these Terms. Where we process personal data on a Customer's behalf, our Data Processing Terms also form part of the agreement.

2. Accounts and access

Customers must provide accurate signup and billing information, keep account credentials secure, use appropriate permissions for their users and tell us promptly if they suspect unauthorised access. A Customer is responsible for activity carried out through its accounts unless caused by our breach of these Terms.

Public forms are intentionally accessible without respondent accounts. Customers are responsible for deciding who receives a form link and what information the form requests.

3. Plans and service limits

Features and allowances can vary by plan, including form count, users, monthly submissions, API access and retained file storage. Current plan limits shown in the service form part of the applicable subscription. We may prevent creation or uploads that would exceed an allowance rather than silently charging overage fees.

If a Customer changes plan, the new plan's limits can apply immediately or at the time shown during the billing change. Existing Customer data is not automatically deleted merely because a new plan has a lower allowance, but some actions may be restricted until usage is within the applicable limit or the plan is upgraded.

4. Paid subscriptions, billing and taxes

Paid self-service subscriptions are billed on the recurring interval shown at checkout using Stripe. By starting a paid subscription, the Customer authorises recurring charges until the subscription is cancelled in accordance with these Terms.

Prices, taxes and the amount payable are shown at checkout. Where VAT or another tax becomes legally chargeable, it may be added to or included in the displayed price as stated at the point of sale. Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing and tax information.

Invoices, payment methods and supported subscription changes may be managed through the Stripe-hosted billing portal.

5. Failed payments and cancellation

If a payment fails, we may allow a temporary payment grace period. Where a grace period is displayed in the service, access can continue until that period expires. If payment remains unresolved afterwards, we may restrict workspace access, public forms, API access or file uploads while keeping the account and data available for recovery for a reasonable period.

Customers can cancel a supported self-service subscription through the billing portal. The effective cancellation date depends on the option shown by Stripe, such as immediate cancellation or cancellation at the end of the current billing period.

Except where required by law or expressly agreed, payments already due or made for an elapsed subscription period are non-refundable. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory legal rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

6. Customer content and responsibilities

Customers retain ownership of the forms, response data, uploaded files and other content they provide or collect through EventForm Pro (“Customer Content”). The Customer gives us a limited right to host, copy, transmit, process and otherwise handle Customer Content only as needed to provide, secure and support the service and comply with law.

The Customer is responsible for:

  • having a lawful basis and appropriate notices for personal information it collects;
  • the wording, accuracy and legality of its forms and instructions;
  • ensuring uploaded or submitted material does not infringe third-party rights;
  • choosing suitable recipients for response emails and protecting exported/downloaded data; and
  • complying with the Acceptable Use Policy.

7. Personal data

Our Privacy Notice explains how we use personal information for our own account, billing, security and business purposes. Where we process Customer Content as a processor, the Customer is responsible for its controller obligations and our Data Processing Terms apply.

8. Intellectual property

EventForm Pro, its software, design, documentation, product names, logos and related intellectual property belong to us or our licensors. These Terms give the Customer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during the applicable subscription or authorised access period. They do not transfer ownership of the platform.

Customers may not copy, reverse engineer, resell or create derivative services from EventForm Pro except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by law or we expressly agree otherwise.

9. Service availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, internet failures, third-party services, security incidents and events outside our reasonable control can affect availability.

We may make reasonable changes to the service to improve it, maintain security, comply with law or evolve features. If a change materially removes a core paid feature during a current billing period, we will act reasonably to provide notice or an appropriate remedy where practicable.

10. Suspension

We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary because of non-payment, a security risk, unlawful activity, material breach of these Terms, an Acceptable Use violation or a legal requirement. Where circumstances permit, we will try to give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

11. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to that, neither party will be liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profit, revenue, goodwill or anticipated savings arising from the service, except where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

For claims arising in any 12-month period, our aggregate liability under the agreement will not exceed the fees paid or payable by the Customer for EventForm Pro during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. If the Customer has used only a free plan, our aggregate liability is limited to £100, except where a different limit is required by law.

12. Ending the agreement and Customer data

A Customer may stop using a free service at any time and may cancel a paid subscription through the available billing controls. We may end the agreement for material breach, persistent non-payment, legal reasons or if we discontinue the service, subject to reasonable notice where practicable.

Customers should export any data they need before account closure. After termination, we may delete Customer Content after a reasonable retention period, subject to backups, legal obligations and any agreed retention arrangement.

13. Governing law

These Terms and any non-contractual dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
